WOw,...Trying to understand your Question. What I think you mean is that the on a call for heat, the unit starts, main burners fire up but only for a few sec. then go out. Not an anticipator problem,... you probably have a direct fire system w. flame rod that is not proving flame. Call a Pro. This is probably an easy call.

heating problem
This is my problem:
Every time when the inducer blower activated the ignitor to fired the burners it remain only for few seconds and then turn off. the thermostast had an anticipator. someone can help0 -
If the tstat was recently changed or a control changed, it may be heavy amp draw on a low set heat anticipator. I replaced a gas valve for a guy on a gas furnace and had to set the heat anticipator to 1.4 amps. It was short cycling big time till the anticipator was set properly. Gas controld seem to vary alot. Have someone qualified check it out.0 -
Flame safeguard
As the other post suggested this appears to be a flame safeguard issue, the sensor isn't seeing the flame in the time required. If this never happened till the stat was changed the technician will test that quickly. Do any elect. 120V work lately? Flipping the hot and neutral will do this also on some systems. Since this is a safety issue best to call a pro.0
