using boiler drain tapping for return

It would probably work OK if the load on the new zone is light. See it done all the time, and sometimes its the only place to tap in. Just be careful about load and return temps to avoid any possibility of shocking the boiler. Without knowing your intended use or what you have for a boiler, its hard to say yes or no, but.....

    is it ok

    To back out the draw off on a boiler and put in a tee and use that as a return for a new zone. If not what could happen if I did it?
