    5/16 PEX connections

    Hi Everyone,

I'm a homeowner installing some Wirsbo Quick Track. But I can't seem to find any online resource that sells Expander heads for 5/16" PEX. They only seem to go to 3/8. Is there another easy way to make connections to 5/16"?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    There isn't

Wirsbo doesn't make expander heads for 5/16th tubing.

Wirsbo makes compression fittings for the 5/16th tubing.

    Expander for 5/16

What are you trying to tie into? Didnt you buy the Wirsbo manifold with the 5/16 compression type fittings?

    so *~/:)

stadler doesnt make an expander head for 5/16 nor does rehau ,...however, undaunted,.... my thought was ,'well go With it' :)i am not overly concerned with this size issue...now i might think expanding 5/16 th to fit a one inch fitting might be a little over the top .5 /16th to 3/8ths will work. i know it will...if you like compression fittings then dont ... there are compression fittings for ten micky mouse too :)

i made a cool header out of three 3/8ths wirsbo fittings and a compressor triple 1/2"air manifold..looks like a rocket ship :) and has worked fine :)with wirsbo stadler and rehau stuck to it :) not having a stdler collar didnt worry me much either.i expanded a piece ofstadler pipe put the three eights wirsbo collar "O" i call them ..over the expanded pipe and pumped it onto the 3/8ths fitting. i run low water temps for the most part...under 100F mostly 60F-> 80.... these are 125' loops and the supply is like cooler than theoutside temp right now.....the return is cooler by about a couple degrees at most...

Would you concider some professional help? Your typing skills/train of thought and ability to command the Kings language we all speak here is slipping away.

Please read your post above. It's not clear to me what the heck you are saying. Is this some sort of new language? Could you express yourself in plain Engliosh;-)
