Wirsbo Miticor Tubing

I have some extra multicor tubing that I wanted to use for a hosebib supply. I remember reading somewhere that multicor tubing is only for heating applications but I cant find it. Is this true? Why isn't multicor good enough for domestic applications? If I do use the multicor for the hosebib supply will my inspector give me a hassle?
Thanks

NSF approval
The Multicor piping made by Wirsbo is not approved for potable water use. It can only be used for heating.
While it is very similar to other brands of Pex-Al-Pex pipe, some of which are NSF certified, Wirsbo has chosen not to have the pipe certified by the NSF. This process costs mucho dinero.
That's not to say they may not choose to have it certified in the future???....
