well actually you might
wish I had a digital camera to show you guys what I ran into yesterday. We are rehabing an old fourplex in a hidstorical district in St Paul. We are ripping out the kitchens and baths. The baths had been redone some number of years ago. Some one had repiped the lav drains, ran about six inches of pipe above the san t and then left it open. They had then installed a wall mounted exhaust fan, run the exhaust flex down the wall and you got it, hooked it into the plumbing vent that the lav had at one time been vented in. It never fails to amaze me!!!!!!0 -
Is that whats known as
a, hehe, power vent?

The low bidder....
always runs out of money before they get the vent up thru the roof! But, then again, that reminds me when the inspector told me that he was on the job to make sure what "you country boys do on the farm is not allowed in the city", guess he missed that one, huh? It never ceases to amaze me what people will try to get away with. Best Regards, from PM 005442.0 -
Saves on the roof penetrations *~/:)
