    Great John

    I know this is a heating wall but some of you fellas got to do plumbing too. We just set up a " Great John " in our showroom. Check out the website if you haven't heard of them. The website doesn't do justice. Seeing is believing.

    Robert. you should give them to mr.postman and get him to

    try them out for you *~/:)

    if he makes it back to your home in a few days maybe the bacon strips are ok after all. ...my dog likes me, as a matter of fact, i think ,inside his doggie mind goes the thought...'i bet he looks Good in barbq sauce' i think the bacon strips would push him over the deep end and he'd be forced to take a large bite outta my hide just for general principals *~/:)

    I couldn't agree more...

    Products like the Great John remind me of a story my brother told me about visiting a friend at RPI one weekend: A girl from the secretary school next door managed to break a john out of the wall when she sat down to do her business... it was the (sad) highlight of the party she was attending.

    Accomodating the morbidly obese is a booming business in the USA, including the proliferation of mini-cranes and other aids in hospitals so that the staff can move/clean/accomodate the fat safely.

    Nevermind the growing number of patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, which is another conundrum for the medical profession.

    I say, eat less, live longer.

    Over-indulgence is an attitude

    and not just with food:

    A beautiful 70-degree day, and the air-conditioner is roaring with all the windows closed;

    A beautiful 70-degree day, and the heat system is roaring with all the windows closed;

    Driving an SUV four blocks instead of walking (without having to carry anything heavy);

    Leaving the house and leaving all the lights on;

    etc. etc. etc. etc.

    As kids we were punished for being so wasteful........

    I agree

    I agree, over indulgence is an attitude, but one urged on by big business and marketing. Obesity and our sudden problem with more and more diabetes is linked directly to the amount of carbohydrates we consume. Carbs, simple sugars, when digested, cause an insulin spike which in turn signals the body to store fat. When you have repeated insulin spikes, not only do you get fat but you risk developing diabetes.

    Carbohydrates are by far, the most profitable food substance to produce and don’t think General Foods doesn’t know it. As you walk through the groceries store you are bombarded with products loaded with carbs. Why, a nice healthy profit margin, that is why. Additionally, for the consumer, carbs are more affordable then proteins or complex carbohydrates (fruits and veggies).

    It is also easer to grab that bag of chips to munch on while lying down watching the tube that is telling you to go out and buy a new and different chip instead of making a nice healthy snack, perhaps a low fat cheese with some fruit or vegetables.

    Get rid of the TV, get rid of the chips, eat low carb, low fat, high protein foods, and stay active so America can shed some pounds.

    I wish I could follow my own advice!

    I like..

    I enjoyed the animated before and after page, showing the normal size bowl with the ultra BIG **** on it. I also gonna wonder who those people are on the home page. Are they really satisfied customers or pro big size models and if they are pros could you amagine your big break being photographed for that ad? We could probably improve on this idea by installing some kind of computor mouse thingy that sticks to your bottom and trowls preperation H on yer bum.

    Soft drink machines at schools

    is another issue that makes me wonder. Finally after 5 years of arguing the local soft drink suppliers will offer water, juice and milk juice optionns at the local schools machines, instead of the Coke, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew of years past :)

    Which came first the chicken or the egg? in regards to fast food and high sugar drinks.

    I Must be an Idiot ...

    ... to think there is something wrong here. Guy next door has a double lot, so he has frontage on the next block. That's where his storage shed is. Yesterday, he drives his SUV about 200 yards around the corner to get to his riding mower. Repeat to get back to the house. I guess his generation found the oil he's using ... let his grandkids find their own.

    Free samples???

    Well being they list for $1200.00 , I don't think they will be flying out the doors too soon. Pictures on the website don't even show the true size to these monsters. I almost fell over when I seen it set up in our showroom. About the size of a soaker tub. The lid has a small opening so if a average sized person needed to use it he could. If any gets a chance to see one in person somewhere go see it. Well worth the trip.
