Costco and Home Depot have them for around 35 bucks. That may not be exactly what you want, but it will save your life if things get out of control.

There was a thread several months ago with a few different places that a HO could order the COExperts low level monitor at a reasonable price. One place was Aeromedix.com, but there were some others that I cannot remember now. Does anyone know where else a consumer can go to buy it? I have three combustion appliances in my home and I am frightened to hell of CO poisoning.

    Thanks.

    Hmmm...

... Aeromedix is still my place of choice for low quantities. If you can get a bunch of friends together, I believe Alan Mercurio is selling them for $89 a piece over at oiltechtechtalk.com. However, the minimum order quantity for that great price is 12.

IMO, only the National Comfort Institute or the COExperts units are worth buying for residential use. Anything else is worse than nothing at all because they'll give you a false sense of security. There are some great professional units to buy as well, but they also come with a much higher price tag.

I want the COExperts detector; I thought there was a place I could get it for under $100, but I have forgotten now. Im going to order it from Aeromedix for $120 and hang it in the upstairs hallway outside my bedrooms, being the likeliest location for me to die from CO poisoning.
