    I got to enjoy the entire weekend with my daughter for some early Father's Day festivities. And since I'm hitting the road today for a trip to NY I wanted to wish our Host a Very Happy Father's Day and to all the Dad's that are on the wall as well.

    I'll third that

    Spent the morning with some HVAC contractors who are putting in equipment for Habitat for Humanity homes in Detroit. Now it's time to chill with the family, go out to dinner, and go see Star Wars tonight. Very cool!

    I'll have my Dad over tomorrow -- today was a tight squeeze. But he knows I love him.

    Father's Day

    Same to all of you..I'm not blessed to be a dad, but spent the day with mine...he's 90 and a retired plumber...I'm fourth generation, he's the third and we had a grand time. Good bless all you dads out there.

    Had a GREAT day

    The kids and their kids plus a mother in law, some inlaws, and a couple of the kids' friends were over for dinner after church. There were 16 of us around the table. The gals got their heads together earlier in the week and decided that each one of us guys could make a request for one item on the menu. We had grilled pork loins, homemade potato salad, homemade rolls, strawberry shortcake with homemade whipped cream (my pick) pasta salad, iced green tea with lemon, corn on the cob and way too much of all.

    Spent Dad's day \"chained to the grill\"...

    The new grill got a real workout, dogs, burgers, kielbasa, ribs, chicken. Plus tri-color pasta salad, spinach salad, fresh veggies and all the fixin's. Grill slavery was relieved by Bass ale and lots of Jimmy Buffet music! Kids had a blast, neighbor's puppy didn't want to go home! Watching the little ones chase and be chased by a playful pup...priceless!
