Expansion is what I would worry about. Even after the mesh is flattened, It will happen to some degree. I know there is a contractor in here that may elaborate if he reads this. wear may be minimal, but then again I am not an expert in this area..Good Luck.

How's everybody handle a mud base job, were the tile guys are putting wire mesh down and the job gets radiant heat? Should we be worried about protecting the tubing some how? Thought about flatting mesh down to get a flat surface, shouldn't have to worry about tubing moving once mud base down. Any other ideas,floor is in a kitchen.0
