the energy is not flowing correctly, therefore the fire seperates more air out of the water, the air goes to anywhere it can to escape the system...You must apply positive flow of water ,through the metal, and drive out the air that has stagnated in the pipeing.

heating problem with manifold
I converted my heating system from oil to gas. I have a hot water heating system. One of my radiator is on a manifold segment. After the conversion, the radiator on the manifold segment is not working. I have drain the whole system and refill it several times. However the problem exist. Can you help me find out why the water does not go through that segment. The segment is in the basement of my house. Please advise.

Air Lock?
You possibly have an air blockage in the lower loop of your heating system. It will require you to bleed that portion of the system.0 -
I agree
You'll have to isolate that particular manifold and force water through it to drive the air out of the system.0
