Here we go again!

I'm constantly asked code questions by contractors that have been cited incorrectly by inspectors or don't posses current copies of the code(s). I have a pretty extensive library and usually within minutes I find the answers, that being said at this time I find myself stumped. Several HVAC contractors contacted me with regard to failed inspections due to improper venting (material). I had instructed these gents to request the code and code section(s) from said inspector (same guy), after about a week (sound familiar)the inspector left a messages on their respective answering machines informing them the regulations have not been met and that the referenced section was G 2426.10.2.3 but not which code book he was referencing it from. The installations (from what I was told) were for medium efficiency warm air furnaces and that double wall (B-Vent) was now a requirement. After asking if the vent was too close to combustibles and if these were indeed medium efficiency appliances or if by chance that were in unconditioned spaces they indicated nothing out of the ordinary. So now I'm left with nothing but a number to reference. Any body know what G - 2426.10.3 is?? The only other option afforded these gents was to now use 18 gauge single wall pipe. Any advice would be welcomed. On a side note to our gracious host, Dan, I was very pleased to see a link to Heating Help on the New Jersey State Plumbing Inspectors Associations web site njpia, way to go!
