Professional recommendations?

After reading for a week this forum, I was convinced to change my 50+ years oil boiler on a new one + indirect water heater. I called a few companies for the estimate, but most of them are not familiar with Indirect WH (some told me that they have to order the literature about IWH, because they never deal with it). Can someone recommend the company around Staten Island, NY area that has an experience in this field ?
Thanks,
Karolina.
Thanks,
Karolina.

Directly above this topic at the top of the page is a link - "click here to Find A Professional". Click on that and then enter your zip code. Several contractors should show up in your area. Some frequent this site and are very knowledgable in oil boilers and indirects. We install a lot of them and I think you will be very happy with the performance.

Pat,
All of what I found are located in NJ. I contacted the closest one and they don't do work in NY.

hopefully
someone may see this message and contact you through here. I would like to help, but I think the travel charges from Alaska might be too much for your budget.
Good Luck.

Thanks, anyway.

Pat,
What brand would you recomend for the new boiler and IWH for the residential three family house?
Thanks,

We are
pretty strong on Burnham. They have great product lines and they are a great company to work with. We just started using there indirect a little over a year ago (Alliance) and have had no problems with them. We have had problems with other brands. We don't deal with oil anymore since they have pretty much converted everything here to natural gas, we did a lot of oil in late 70's. I have met and talked to a lot of the people here and I know your area has a lot of oil and most of them are very knowledgable in that area.
New products like Veismann and Buderas seem to be getting a lot of use back East, they are just now beginning to make a presence here, so I am not as familiar with them. But learning every day.
Hope this helps. The only 2 Indirects I would recommend would be the Alliance and Triangle Tube.

Karolina,
You didn't call us. We're in NJ and 10 minutes from the Goethals, 20 from the Outerbridge.
It costs nothing to talk: (732) 388-1794.
I'll be around tying up some loose ends today
