Indirect fired water heater comparison

either of those indirects, properly sized, will provide excellent service.

Sometimes the Ergomax is chosen to supply a buffer capacity for multi zoned radiant systems, as it holds the boiler water in the tank.

It probably has more to do with the piping plan the heating contractor will use, than the actual DHW production, I suspect :)

    Indirect fired water heater comparison

We are building a new house and installing radiant heat in the basement concrete slab. The boiler for the radiant heat will be a Weil McLain Ultra 155. The heating contractor is recommending we install a Weil McLain Ultra Plus indirect fired water heater to complement the boiler. However the plumbing contractor is recommending we install an Ergomax indirect water heater. Can anyone provide pros/cons in regards to which indirect water heater we should use with the Weil McLain Ultra 155 boiler?
    Thanks

    GULTRA PLUS TANK

I HAVE USED ULTRA PLUS WITH MANY ULTRA BOILERS, LIFETIME WARRANTY AND NONE OF THE JOBS HAS RUN OUT OF HOT WATER. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ULTRA PLUS. SIZE IT CORRECTLY AND FORGET IT
