Superstor Ultra Leaks

This question is for those who install a lot of Superstors. How often do you get a factory leak on a brand new installation? I just installed one 3 weeks ago and it now leaks. On the boiler out port you can see water squeezing between the foam and the plastic outer cover. It’s also coming out of the aquastat port. It doesn’t seem to be wet at the top hot port though. It’s a pretty good leak! Has any one seen these signs? What have your factory leaks looked like?

    Leaks

I had the same problem wath only one of these. It leaked the same way yours did. My rep made good on it and gave me a 2 for 1 to cover me for my labor. I think they are a great unit.

I have been using them for the last four years and never had a leaker yet. I use about 30 a year. I've replaced many a blue tank. Never have I even received a free tank from the blue people. It never seems to be covered. I'm sure glad to hear Heat Transfer took care of you. I figured they would.

about fifteen this year allready and more than that last year ... No Leaks !!

Checked to make sure the aquastat is threaded properly and has enough thread sealant. These tanks are preasure tested Before the leave the factory.

    Great Product
