Saw this from a \"fix-it\" guy

I had this very amatuerish-looking flyer inside my screen door last week. It was from a local person(s) who called themselves the "Fix-It Service." The company (for lack of better word) claims to install central air equipment at "fair, and below present market prices" (exact quote). I've asked a local contractor friend to give the company a call. I'd love to see the company's refrigerant handling license, as well as a list of referrals, pricing terms, blah blah blah.

Qualifications?

Why not give the"company" a call and enlighten them to the reqirements associated with our line of work.

Chances are they have no clue and are operating as a glorified moonlighting business.

Nothing wrong with trying to earn a living - just play by the same rules as the rest of us.

The fix it guy must have worked part time with a crew or with a machanic on a few jobs.

He may pick up a few jobs a year some of the price shoppers out there..
