on a steam header in a commercial building. After several hours of removing paint, this nice looking gage emerged!
It is 11" across at the outside. Now I need to get a new glass cut for it.

Dumb Question
Why the "extra" space between 0 and 1 psi?
If there's actually steam being produced is that first heavy line after zero the "true" zero for steam?
Forgot to say--nice save from inconsiderate spray paint. Any decent glass company can cut a circle and finish the edges.0 -
I'm not sure..
what the extra space is for? I did find some info on Ashton Valve Co. (the manufacturer)and can tell by the serial # that it was made in 1916!

I'll keep looking.
