Did I hurt anything

tonight I was listening to my dhw circulator and my arm hit the dhw return ball valve and it closed almost all the way wile the cerc was running. is this bad for the system could the tank coil damage or anything from this

    i took out my air scoop today and put in a air elimenator
    so i was just seeing if i could here noise or anything in it

    If you were right there and turned it back on you have nothing to worry about. If you left it off til this morning you might have problems. EJW

    Rooster, I agree with others as long as you re-opened it right away it should be ok. However as I read the wall I see you're a person that is thirsty for knowledge (this is a good thing)and that's why you'll do well getting into this business. With that said I believe you'll like reading this article from our host, Dan. And once again as Dan says. "It pays to wonder off The Wall"!

    not to worry...

    the little pastic impellor in a modern houshold circ...will disintegrate long before the volute blows up
