you should know that if your studing by using the referance manual A Guide for NATE Certification published by RSES,don't waste your time. Myself and two of my techs. have been using it prepare for the core and the oil heating specialty for four months (every Friday morning). We took the test down Pittsburgh today and the test was nothing like the study guide.
The guide has alot of good information but don't get it and plan on aceing the test.
