    Chinese smoke adaptor

    NOW I've seen everything !
Had to share this with everyone, this was the vent stack for a woodstove in a cabin I recently moved into. I don't know if the wok was modified for it's use or if the cookin' was a lil too Scezhuan ;) - ed

    You know

THAT wok didn't come from Walmart ! Walmart's wouldn't have held up so well.

Look at the fit, and how square it is to the pipe. And without use of any turnbuckles ! That guy is a diamond in the rough, raw talent just waiting to be refined :)

    Notice

The (person?) terminated the vent right by that poor old furnace. I wonder what the CO is on that baby!!

Why is it the dryer vents, the dog's pad, the cat litter box and all those types of things are always by the boiler/furnace/whatever? Is there some code I don't know about that says these things have to be there?

    wok your stack

The cabin once belonged to Joe Redington Sr. and I believe the modifications are his or a close relative. Living in bush Alaska in the pioneer days took some real skookum ingenutin'!

Trash can lid tighted up with a garden hose tapped into it and casually draped to the nearest AHJ approved floor drain with an air gap....:) You see the beauty in this certainly.....*~/:)
