Any thoughts, opinions on the MZ 25C? How does it compare to Munchkin (performance, reliability, serviceability)? I'm in MA so I can't go with new Buderus GB; W/M Ultra and Viessmann are out of my price range.

Background - HW CI rads (single pipe w/ tees) and indirect DHW. BTW - Any recommendations for the IDHW with a very hard water condition? Tank in tank design seems like a potential solution.

Their web site is somewhat basic in regards to product docs. Is this a modulating condensor, and can it be vented vertically?

no, no modulation and no built-in outdoor reset. You have to add reset via tekamr, Taco, etc.

Yes, you can vent vertically.

no frills unit. I also have one running in my shop. Fairly quiet. Easy to service with everything upfront, although and it never breaks down!
