im installing my first climate panel radiant system. been reading instructions i have some? if anyone can help. do you use constrution adhesive to glue them down. is it better to put a layer of dura rock before tile. how many screws do you use for the panel if you tile over it. any other advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. its a viega system

don't use adhesive. i think viega tells you to use 10 screws per panel. five each side. screw durarock right on top of it before you install the tile. add 1/2" of plywood over the panels if you are installing carpet. for hardwood, you can nail the hardwood right to it. no additional flooring needed. everything you need should be in the instructions manuals from viega.

    What Matt said

I've used Quik trak the same way with no adhesive underneath, and 10 screws per panel. You might want to invest in a screw gun with an extension. My helper was sick the first day and boy did my back and knees hurt with all the bending over and kneeling. Wirsbo makes one. BTW my knees and back felt fine when my helper came back the next day. You are also supposed to silicone the tubing into the groove. We put 1/2 duro rock on top before the ceramic tile. Customer was very happy. WW

    Mike,
The best advice anyone could give is, contact Viega and get their Climate Panel Installation Manual, all your answers are in the installation manual.
