Humming Noise During Fire Hot Water

I would like to find any information reguarding a low level humming noise that can be heard throughout the residential home on a hot water boiler system (+/- 30year old) that occurs only while boiler is firing. Pump running or main water flow does not cause the problem. They have two zones and two wild loops. If the main basement zone is shut off the humming stops. The taco zone head was replaced and problem still occurs (RE: but only during boiler fire). Problem does not seam to be with gas valve or piping. Please advise. Thanks Rob Wilkins
