What should be done to properly close down a staem boiler at the end of the heating season.

    Ken, My Burnham book calls for the boiler to be flooded to the top of the water colum and left full till fall. Also want to spray the combustion chamber with light oil and shutting off the oil valve. Call the Mfg and get the book
