I am sure you have all had to deal with about a billion different fittings rolling around the bottom of your truck. I really want to be organized. Is there any advice you guys can give, or web-sites you can refer me to where I can get some storage containers?
Thanks

We use 1/2 gallon cardboard milk cartons
Make a wooden box with a 3/4" EMT handle. Make it so 2 x 6 or 7 1/2 gallon cardboard milk cartons fit into it. Easy to carry and you can put 12-14 different fittings in a single box. If you make the top of the ends flat you can stack them in the shop. We put 1/2" cooper fittings in one box, 3/4" in another 1" in another and so on. Works well.0 -
Stackers
For my small copper and black iron fitting, I use the yellow stackers that fit in a five gallon bucket. Best Wishes J.Lockard0 -

Try...
www.grainger.com
They have some REALLY cool, REAL tough storage boxes, about 8" deep with dividers. Look in the Materials Handling and Storage section.
Stackable too!

Back in the day
I used milk crates with 1/2 gallon containers with the top cut off.A few years ago I found this great storage container company, they have bins with labels that you can customize to whatever you need, don't be afraid of the price the amount of labor time you save being organized, will increase your bottom line.I bought my shelving from granger, we use box trucks all the truck storage systems are the same.

soda cases..
work GREAT, using them for 20 + yrs. stack great and can stand on them to get those extra few inches, fit nice in truck and only cost 50 cents from soda dist. Milk crates and one lb coffee cans work wonders also.0 -
Portable?
If you want to haul them onto the jobsite I use the 5 gallon bucket systems. I built my truck body to handle 8 of these buckets.
They make nice seats, and also come in handy should you spring a leak!

For those of us not up on beverage container history, what does a quart pop bottle/case look like?
