Anyone have a scan of "Engineers' Data for Vento Heaters" that they're willing to share?

    THANKS DAN!!!!

Will print for reference and forward on to the person in need! Did I miss it in "The Library"?

    Noticed a typo in EDR:

In the index under "American Radiator Company", "Ventor" is listed as opposed to "Vento".

    mmmmm....ventos.........

I just want to thank everyone in the past who helped me when I needed the same information. I was able to do a good recalculation of vento size needed based on the reduced amount of fresh air intake we now need on our theater's heating system.

    Here's another Document

Might help when sizing boiler replacement.

70° output was the standard design temp for air entering the room.

    Typical design velocities were 100 ft/minute for 1st floor; 200 ft/minute for 2nd floor; 300 ft/minute for 3rd.

A bit more detailed table for standard design velocities shows:

(Elevation between center of registerand center of steam indirect radiator):

    3-5' (1st floor) - 180 ft/min

    10' (still 1st floor, register about 7' above floor) - 240 ft/min

    20' (2nd floor) - 360 ft/min

    30' (3rd floor) - 420 ft/min
