Will it use more oil?

Now that my steam sytem has been properly vented The building has raised the temp. 6 degrees in about 1/2 the building. That is, in 3 good sized apartments and 4500sq feet of retail space is now 70 instead of 64F. The stat is in the same room and it has not changed. It seams to run the same amount but it stands to reason if more area is heated it should use more fuel. Any thougts

The amount of oil burned
depends on how long the burner runs. Previously, you were running the burner and the steam wasn't moving out to the rads like it should have. With the Gorton #2 vents, the steam moves much more quickly. So you might not use that much less oil, but you'll sure be more comfortable!
