First the bad news....
We lost a fine man last night, Alex was G.C., a Joiner to trade. He built up his Contractors business in the late 70's, 80's and 90's employing large numbers of staff. I was a Plumbing Sub-Contract and he was a valued customer.
He so action in WW2, along with many others Scots he was there for us - so we could remain free. Business life for Alex was everything, everyone on-site at 7.00am until 6.00pm, he was a hard taskmaster, but very fair and well respected.
One of his many sayings, when it was raining or snowing, was ''Get out there and work Son, you're not sugar, you'll not melt''. Sadly Missed.

NOW! for the good news.........
I'm going to Denmark in June and someone else is PAYING!! We install BAXI Stoker and Bio-Fuel boilers that are very environmentally friendly www.baxi.dk
I have be kindly asked to visit the factory and get some installer training, so I'm looking forward to my visit as I never made it to the ISH in Germany this year.
Thanks for reading.
Regards.

When a good friend leaves these surly bonds, it is only right that they be remembered in their best light.

A good friend is a treasure and all the more missed because of who and what they were.

We are very lucky in life if we can count 5 true friends.

Our desire to have just one more conversation with a friend that has left, shows how we valued that friend.

I liked your tribute to your friend. May he find heaven to his liking and enjoy the drink of his choice.

    Baxi

Sorry about the loss of your friend.

I just got trained on the Luna last month. Their condenser isn't here yet, but is on it's way :)

The Co-gen unit is VERY tantalizing and I hope not far off.

The Bio-fuel REALLY interests me. I wasn't aware they made one. I'll have to call the NA rep and ask about it. I do commercial refrig as well as HVAC, I'm betting I could get fuel cheap :)

    Thanks

Thanks everyone for your very kind words.

One of my brothers has a Forestry Contractors business (a Lumberjack), and has an unlimited supply of wood. So he is fitting a Baxi Multi-Heat Stoker boiler for his house and new addition. These units burn logs very slowly and get every bit of heat out of them, so they are very energy efficient. There will be two large buffer tanks connected to the boiler, they will store water at 80*C and supply all hot water, radiators and radiant floor heating in his new addition. I hope to get some photo's when we have finished-to share with you.
    Thanks for reading.
    Kind regards.
