for alomost three years! whew! and I know prices have increased significantly.

I am just just getting started again, and have a very large house to design and price. I am looking for a little help to get started.

this house is about 7000 square feet (never done one this large), I can handle the heat loss calcs, and the design, but looking for some help to price it out correctly.

any hints? I have material prices, but not sure how to price the labor. how do you price it? per foot? per zone? any hints?

if you have any hints or advice, please e-mail me, I would appreciate any help i can get on this one!!!!

thanks guys!

Chris

there are some courses that teach you how to price according to materials , but i would start with a smaller job ,you don't want to loose your shirt at the starting gate. maybe offer to do a cost + job here materials labour paid on a weekly basis , as there are usally lots of changes in these homes , would be fair to bolth parties you get paid for time and materials and it allows them to stop if budget runs short
