Here's some pics of the Vitodens installation on a PB system with heat exchanger. We'll finish and commision by Friday (with any luck). Note the "Before" pic!! The client added a VitoCell 53 gal. Indirect DHW tank to the renovation, which added a little time to the startup. More pics to follow when it's fini.

Low loss header
Paul
What are you using to support your low loss header. I can't quite make it out. I am excited I am installing my second vitodens and talking with the third cutomer. Looks like a great install

FPHX hanger
The FPHX is attached by 2 pieces of unistrut sandwiched with threaded rod. There are neoprene pads on the strut for vibration isolation. No Low Loss Header; the FPHX separates the boiler from the system. Prefab modules would have been nice...if they only integrated with the Vitodens controls.

I think those gert gages look very cool
so , um who makes them ? even i, going near blind from years of stairing at fittings could read those is that a taco micro bubble resorber ? looks like an intergrated spirovent and caleffi0 -
Hey Paul,
Nice Work as always! I like the transofrmation from the "before".... I remember seeing those pics some time ago when you wanted to illustrate that even expensive homes can have heating system hack jobs... I'm glad you could come to the rescue!
The dials on the supply pipes are one feature I'd like to have... instead I'll instrument our rig with a data logger. Naturally, that'll only give me an idea about temperature rather than pressure and temp, which would be more useful...
I sure hope that the homeowner is impressed with the transformation. With any luck that'll reduce their gas bills as well...0 -

Is the FPHX for the non barrier tubing, duh, thats what you meant by PB I get it.
I really like the way you did the fosta pex, instead of just bending it.
See you at westock.
