I talked with Dave @ Buderus yesterday about this sinerio and I wanted to put it on paper so everyone can see it! The baseboard (which are 4 R-22 panals) will run off of the r-10 control. We will be using Buderus outdoor reset controls on the two mix blocks. I am just confused on how to tie it all together????? The zone valves off of the mix block? Because each mix block will have one t-stat on the largest zone which is a Buderus t-stat., and the others will have another t-stat? Any help would be appreciated.

When you talk about a Buderus t-stat do you mean a room sensor ? If so be carefull its very difficult to balance this.
I wuld use traditiona; t-stats for the zones and allow the mixing stations to do thier job.
Nice looking design, is your Dad shaking his head

Scott,
Yes, I am talking about the room sensor. What do you mean you will have trouble balancing it? Buderus had said that I would need that sensor so the mixing station would operate correctly off of ootdoor reset?
You would just use some taco zonevalves then with a zonevalve control panal?
Thanks for the input!!!!!!!!!!!
I still owe ya some beers too.

curious
What program did you use to make that diagram?0 -
The program is Microsoft Viso. Thanks0 -
Hey Joe
Could you by chance tell me where to purchase it or is it something you have? That would make an excellent program to have when doing layout's and estimates...0 -
It is a great program but it is EXPENSIVE!!!
