And no leaks?

I tested with air and then put the water to it. Wow, the latest zone addition works and what seemed like hundreds of 90's do not leak.
Lessons learned-
Cleaning all those fittings and pipe is hard on the wrists. There must be a pencil sharpener like device that one could stick the pipe and fittings into to clean.
Hot pipe looks like cold pipe, only feels different.
Running pipe reminds one of all the teachers that said geometry will be important in life. It is easy to get backed into a corner when this is a part time project as time permits. Pipe goes together much more easily then it comes apart.
There is always a pipe in the way of the wrench.
Read the fine print first. I located the VisionPro stat on one wall intending to put the extra indoor sensor on the other wall. But it seems only the remote sensors are used to average when the stat is programmed for extra sensors. I could have located the stat for convenient use.... maybe I will move it, well, later, maybe.
Air collects at the highest point and just because it was late at night does not mean that was ok to skip that extra little fitting.
Hot pipe looks like cold pipes!
The instant on MAPP gas torch is so cool, I own two. Lost the first one somewhere in the building.
Flat panel rads are super. We had them in our apartment in Switzerland in the 70's.
Did I mention that hot pipe looks like cold pipe?

Duhh
what was I thinking, sitting there turning this brush by hand.0 -
Ouch
I had my fingerprints done the other night for USCG Aux application. The fellow asked why some of my prints, especially the thumbs were scarred and sliced. Said "Ouch" when I explained that I do stained glass.
Oblong prints in the hand are much more fashionable!0 -
Mill Rose makes
some nice copper cleaning brushes for cordless drills. Quick connect chuck with internal and external cleaning brushes.
The drill type brushes are wound a little different than the basic hand held ones. Those tend to flatten out quickly when you power them up
The Cooper Prepper is about the nicest copper cutting, deburring, and cleaning tool I have seen. Nicer than the Rigid, in my opinion. A little spendy, but probably a lifetime tool. Been around since the 50's I think, sold under a bunch of different brand names.
