Tim from Manatoba,
Hi Tim
So maybe you got the information by now, but I need to know now...it's a funny thing about me, I can't leave something alone until I have an answer, my brain can only be defragged if I at least attempt to put to sleep the unknown. So with that said, I discussed this situation with a Johnson Controls guy this morning and he was sure had a TP923. He said he had one in his office, follow me he said, so I did follow him to his work area and he pulled out a box of rebuilt Honeywell Pneumatic stats and handed me a TP910, Ok, I said, with this puzzled look across my face, but I'm wanting to learn about the TP923A. He said, "Sorry Bud, I'm not familiar with that stat, it is the TP910, I'm familiar with?" But here is how you calibrate the 910 and he proceeded to show me,It is always good to learn anyhow.. and if youre interested still,
When I returned home I went back to the book I have and found more puzzling information, the rebuild kit for Honeywell round pneumatic t-stat includes the wonderful words (except TP923). What is going on? Can we get a close up picture of one? Oh yes? The TP910A is replaced by the same stat that replaces the TP923 as explained in the earlier post.
First, the Honeywell stat should be set to 9 pounds (unlike JC is at 7 pounds) Does everyone agree or disagree with this how about some dialog?

TP Round
I disagree. Honeywell had a retro-fit kit for the old round style. Ask Tim McElwain(sp?)for the exact part number.
Thermostat should be calibrated at room temperature for mid-spring range of the controlled device, i.e. 3-8# would be 5.5#. If the spring range of the controlled device is unknown then use 8#.0 -

Thanks man!! No, I do not have TP923 info yet. I saw that little wheel on the right, but, I took my father's sage old advice: "If ya don't know what it is (for), don't mess with it. 'Cause if it aint broke right now -- it will be before you're done messing with it". Sooooo I didn't! There might still be hope for me, yet.0
