I was going to ask about Munchkin boilers and I find that the number 1 thread was about munchkin boilers. It is about a specific topic though. I was wondering about general comments. Have you had good luck with them? With a radiant system?

Best boiler for the job.
Munchkin is a condencing boiler, low mass, no return protection needed.
Install Vision I and get an outdoor re-set.
Personaly I often wonder why anybody still uses large mass cast iron boilers when dealing with low water temperatures from radiant and out door resets..

I have installed

about 25 Munchkins, without a hitch. I did however do several things first. I read (not looked at) the instructions. I did combustion analisys on each and every one. I made sure that everything I did, was to the instructions. "This is not your fathers boiler".

Nice boiler

for the money. Good support crew behind the product. Saves a bunch of money on operating costs. Takes a little extra thought putting it in as compared to the cast iron beasties. Takes a little more time too. WW
