i,ve actually used these bell hangers years ago in nyc.. same as a f&m plate only with a nice covering..

I've been using hangers

like those copper ones since I was an apprentice. We call them van hangers .. Have no idea why, I was told thats what they are. Must be a N.E. thing.

BUT I have never seen the plastic coated ones. Now that is cool stuff.

Yes Indeed Van Hangers

The plastic coating would be nice in a damp environment. Standard steel copper coated hangers will rust very quickly in a damp area.
