I know others will disagree, but this item got my boxers in a bunch.

134 year old Richardson snowman found to be the oldest operating boiler in New Hampshire. The owner of this piece won a contest for a free new boiler and installation from Smith boiler. Ok fine. Hard to resist.

But this old beauty deserved a more dignified decommissioning than this. I would have moved it into a corner with attactive lighting, etc as a testimonial to a very long lost era of the way things used to be made.

when we replace an old U.S. Radiator Co. "Puritan" snowman boiler one of our customers has. Easily the oldest piece I've ever added a low-water cutoff and brick baffles to.
