Has anyone ever shot quick trac down with a nail gun as opposed to screwing it?

screwgun
I never have, and there must be a reason they mention screws and staples, but not nails. You can pick up a corded Senco screwgun for $100 at any big box store, which does the job quite nicely.

Quick track
Nope,Have used scres and staples but not nails.I would be a little worried about squeks with a nail unless it was a ring shank.
Staples hold the stuff down very well and is fast!0 -
Crown stapler
I use 1/4" x 11/2" crown staples in a pneumatic stapler. Much faster than screws, and put at least 14 staples per panel.
