Weil Mclean Recall On GV Boilers

I have a GV5 & GV6 Boiler both 18 months old , Both acting funny on fire up and sequence. I heard some general info about recalled componets and fixes that do not work. Can anyone direct me to how and where I might explore any and all recall info of GV boilers? Any and all input would be appreaicated.

Just curious

Are you having issue's with the by-pass pump staying on constantly? Or insufficiant heat call's? I installed a gv not to long ago and have been having intermittant issue's with it. If I find any info on a recall I'll let you know...

There is no recall on the Weil-McLain GV Boiler...
Contact your local Weil-McLain sales office as ssen on their website...

Joe, I must correct you

There was a recall on the GV boiler due to gas valve problems. Some units from 96 and 97 could have to much gas pressure, and all units installed above 7000 feet elevation were recalled from 90 through 98.

There was also the recall of the plastic vent pipe used on many GV boilers from the mid to late 90's.

with the internal recirc 'stat.
