Radiator valve handles

I have a buddy that is looking for replacement handles for some old radiator valves. The handles are made of wood, have a hole in the center for the screw and two "voids" if you will, underneath for the adapter plate to attach to. The plate has two "pins", 180 apart, and a square center that goes on the valve stem. I am hoping not to have to tell him that he has to have a woodworker turn all the handles if he wants them replaced. The system is a gravity fed boiler that had been converted from coal! I can't wait to read more about the things that are not around very much now! Well any way... where can I find replacements?
