I will admit they are pretty,compact,well built,quick and many other things. However are they as much fun as building our own?

Well....what precludes you from making one?

the ideas been around for a long time. where to put the pieces so they are protected..?the only space you have is above the laundry washer in another room....make a nice white panel and put it in above the washer so you can work on it if you have to ,by moving the washer out of the way.as it is screwd down theres no way for any one to store junk or hang things off the pipes,and most ladies are fairly clean and if they see a leak comming out of the drain hose out the bottom of the box you will be alerted Pronto *~/:)

You're absoulutly right there is no reason not to build our own. We can fabricate just as pretty and compact as the manufactured product. Anybody out there building their own that is comparable to the manufactured modules.
