Low pressure steam guages

I tried Dwyer Instruments, Weiss Instruments, and Winter. Any other suggestions for a 0-1lb scale guage for steam? All of the above have 0-15lb minimum that can handle the temp of steam, or they do not have a bottom tapping. Thanks in advance. Jake

    Winters

they have a 0-5 psi gauge #p305. It also says others available on request. I am just a homeowner that has searched for gauges online before and never saw a 0-1 psi gauge.

    Winters makes the P305

0-5 PSI with 1/4" bottom connection. That might be the best you can get.

Hey, Steamhead. I looked around Winters site, and I thought it looked like they had one that read down to 0-16 oz/in sq, and it looked like another that read to 0-30 in H2O. When I called, the person who answered the phone said she was not sure if those could handle steam temp. She said that the lowest she new of that could, would be 0-15 lb. I'm going to call again today because it looks like the p305 has various adjustable scales. Maybe I can ask for a special one.
Thanks for your help. You too Matt the HO.

    Pressure Gauge

It is not so much the pressure range as much as the temperature limits of the gauge. You need to use a siphon between the gauge and the steam to lower the temperature.
Go to Grainger on line and they have 2C639 0/30 iw and a 2C641 0/5 psi and the siphons. These are Ashcroft gauges and the lowest we make in psi is a 0/3 psi but Grainge would have to special order it.

Also: the Trerice DB00109 Model 760B 2-1/2" gauge for 0-5 PSI. if used with pigtail or syphon is OK with steam.
