I recently posted a couple pic's of my yard with a little snow. For those who liked the view, these recent pic's are after a 15" snow storm came threw dumping some nice heavy wet snow. I finally got my power back on after 15 hours...Maybe you folk's in the big cities know something I don't...LOL..Think I'll stay in the country though!!

No power
You need to install a backup generator. I was "out" of power for 4 days, with my generator purring I didn't even notice. Nice pics, I wish we could get some snow like that. All we get anymore is 1 or 2 inches at a time.

let me box it up!!
Were should I send it to? I really should get a generator but only lose power for a day or two a year. I have two woodstove's in my house (not bad since I work for an oil company) so I never go cold. This snow was lousy though, really wet and heavy. All of the birch tree's are broken now and the power company guy's are still chasing their tales...0 -
Snow....
When it snows like that I just stay home and play. I get the 4-wheelers out and pull the kids all over the place. Good for hunting fox and coyotes in too. They don't move very fast and are easy to see and pick off.0 -

I have
I have a generator (now) but doubt snowmelt is in my future. It would cost more to melt the snow than to heat my house. This pic is of the top of my driveway. The driveway is 275' long...:) Think I'll let my Ford take care of the snow..LOL0
