Woodstove Boiler?

I met a couple looking for a woodstove boiler or something with a coil in it. They want something that looks nice that would be in the living area. She said she found one that is manufactured on the Isle of white, but nothing else in the states due to new regulations and such. Anyone have any info?

In the interest of keeping you sane over the next 10 years back away slowly from this job and change your phone number. I have been to England on more than one occasion and what they allow would cause the rest of us to loose what little hair we still have. Case in point they bring in five pound gas to a residence in a copper 3/8 line out of the ground and reduce it in the residence. In the UK thier are of course excellent trades people : but, they do not have have our codes etc. so whatever you recieve will in all probabilty not meet code in your area and you will be stuck with an appliance you could not give away.
Good Luck and all the best. I am in Canada so I can say nasty things about the UK all my relatives are still living there.

    I've searched for the same

with no luck. If anywhere, the upcoming ISH show in Germany would display such an appliance.

As you already know insurance companies shutter when they here the word "indoor wood burners". Probably why you will not find much in this country.

If you do find one overseas getting UL or any listing that would be accepted here is another story.

Dave Yates promises to scour the Solar and Alternative Energy Heat halls at ISH. Hope he can smuggle some pictures out :)
