... seen an installation that used valves like this? There's another style that was a straight through pattern.

    No, but......

    .....I've got a pending project where those valves might be just the ticket, due to some tight space!!

    Are these valves still available?

    I Suspect Not...

    ... but you never know. The scan is from an old (1902) Crane catalogue. I've never even seen pictures of valves like this before, let alone the actual item.

    NUBEE TO STEAM

    I've owned my house for 6 years. The steam system has never worked right, so for most of the last 5 years, I've burned wood. Finally bought a new Burnham Steam boiler. IN-5 with electric pilot. Works great. I just got Dan's Steam deal book packet. I've reading and learning.

    Couple of questions.
