A welder should be able to use a special cast-iron rod or mig to fill the hole, when the system is empty.

Cast iron radiator w/ leak
Is there any procedure (all be it easy?) to fix a leak in one of those old radaitors? It is in the middle of the unit so I tis not a valve problem. Will liquid wrench/ solder work after and if I can find the actural leak? Any and all advice (expecially if it if good) is valued.
