Due to my tight reset curve, my taco 007 circulator is pretty much on all the time, place in comfy etc. If this ok for the pump to run constantly in this mode?

Outdoor reset, have boiler running at min temp, Taco 007 circulator runs mots of the time. No injection loop. Convector units.0 -
Curious
convectors run at a higher temp typically. What kind of boiler & @ what temp is it cycling?
The 007 (if it's the primary circulator) may be running because the convectors are calling for heat all the time.

Burnham Series 2, regular piping, taco on return side, no bypass, have convectors throughout the house. Yes, stat is on calling for heat at 73 for house temp, outside is around 40 now, boiler taget temp is 155.
Isnt this a good method to have the circulator running most of the time to have a more comfortable heating?

Ken I am at work
I thought somewhere I read that constant circulation is good and gives you a good even heat. Just want to know if the poor Tacoo 007 can handle this0 -
Continuous Circulation
It's a system we all strive for. As soon as the outdoor temperature drops below 68°, the circulator starts moving water and the boiler injects heat as needed based on the reset curve. The circulator does not stop until the outdoor temperature goes above 68°.
Your 007 should be happy running continuously. Just make sure your boiler is not condensing, i.e. the return water temperatures do not go below 130°.

kca have dan fix your http://WWW. Amberymechanical.Com
it has a space after the www.
and when that is the case when you click on the url it will show like this http://www. amberymechanical.com/
i just thought i point that out for you so more people can go to your site
good luck0 -
Continous
Circ is a good thing, I guess the point that I was getting to was that if the circ was on because the system could never keep up then there may be an adjustment required. Thats why I was asking about the room temp.
But if your happy then the circ is happy..

hi alan when you say make sure return temps dont go below 130deg.
but what if the boiler is working at 120deg is this ok if the temp is coming back at 110deg thats a 10deg delta t
thanks

Ken:
Rm temp is maintained at my desire 73 deg. So yes all is well with that, just wanted some confirmation that running the circi most of the time is ok.

The boiler may not
condense at 120deg.. Laars says it won't but the flue will..

I have been running my 007 for 6 years almost constant in winter. Gets hot but keeps turning. For 69 bucks, if it goes throw another in, don't lose any sleep.0
