honeywell? trim t design?? sounds like it either has its source of power interupted......does it turn on with the fan or always on?? or it has a bad zapper........either way i tend to talk people out of any repiars with them. if you don't clean them on a monthly basis( or sooner depending on the house and residences) then they drop in efficiency to the point of a basic filter anyways. shut off the power switch, throw out the cells and pre screens and replace with an air bear. measure three dimensions...i'm guessing it would be 20x25x5 or 16x25x5(hieght,width,length). they cost a bit but these filters pretty much make it a year on average before needing to be changed, again each house is different. if its a trim-t model then forget it, 2" filter put in there a bit sloppy is about all you can do

I've serviced tons of these. Listen to Bill, pull the cells out and the prefilter and put in air bear.

Or better yet, rip out the furnace, replace with an air handler and install a new complete hydronic heating system:)
