Has anyone got any info on these units. It is approx.
5' wide x 5' tall x 8' long. Basically a large electric boiler. No pressure, storage type system. Looking to add on to a house w/ one of these and want to know if it will be able to handle the additional load.

The tank you are refering to is a off-peak storage system. The tank is usually used as supplement heat in a heat pump system. The system has a circulator which circulates to a hydro coil down stream of the air handler or in some cases I've seen baseboard loops installed. They are open type systems ,which only heat during off peak hours.[5pm-7am m-f 24/7sat&sun] The company is no longer in business and parts are hard to find. With that said I would look into a conventional method to heat the addition.0
