Digital Thermostat setting for HydroAir System
Mike J.
Member Posts: 12
I recently installed a Honeywell digital thermostat to my hydor air heat/ac system. My question is what system setting is hydro air considered? Gas/Oil Warm Air or Hot Water??
Also, any recommendations on finding a furnace filter for a Firstco air handler 20X22.25X1, in Connecticut?
Thanks.

Hydroair...
as far as the thermostat thinks, hydroair is just another form of forced air, so set the stat for 6 cph, which is the factory default setting. Control your water temp with the aquastat and/or reset system. As far as the filters go, contact your heating pro, Honeywell has filters available, think about upgrading to a pleated media or even better, an electronic air cleaner. Those basic 1" filters have no air quality effect at all; they just keep the dust bunnies out of the fan.0
