It was a good game, played well by both teams. I think both teams would say they where not at the top of thier game. T.O. played very well..

That being said, to the Winners go the Bragging rights.

PATS ROCK !!!!!!

YA, ITs A DYNASTY !! Even more impresive with the league rules than years ago.

Belichek is one of the Greatest Coachs of All Time.

    At least.....

...it was an exciting game. I really wasn't expecting Philly to win, but they made it very interesting!!

Congratulations to New England - quite the accomplishment.

Another ingredient for a dynasty continued...

Looking ahead to next year - what will the NFC produce in the way of a formidable team? The Eagles were far and away the best team there this year - but in the big game, in which they just had to do the basic right things to win, the coach, quarterback, and running game all failed miserably. Now the mouths can go to work and bring further demise to that team. All the other NFC teams all seem to be lacking in many areas, especially on offense. Should they even bother showing up at next year's Super Bowl?

    re

Eagles have the best record in football over the last 4 years, IIRC. Look for that ot continue.

One more mistake by the Pats, one less by the Eagles, and they would be celebrating.

    But they aint

I would think they are the odds on favorite next year in the NFC. See what happens to the Pats roster in the next month, and then the draft. Oughta be innerestin

    Superbowl

I was rooting for the Eagles, but I can say the best team won. Patriots offensive line was like a brick wall and their QB was deadly. But I am heartend that is was only a 3 point loss. Was on the edge of my seat.

Early on in this discussion of who would win

I suggested that Brady reminded me of Montana. Turns out, Joe is Brady's hero.

Late in the game, the Pat's beat up secondary was having real trouble covering the Eagle's receivers. If the injury to their safety happens earlier in the game, the score could have easily gone the other way. The game was really to close in many respects, but the precision of Brady in his passes was a marvel when you consider the pressure of the situation and the game on the line. As Hemingway stated, "Grace under pressure" should always be appreciated.

I would not be surprised to see Brady break all of the QB records if he stays healthy and the Pat's are able to keep their team together with the salary cap problem.

The bottom line was, it was a terrific game to watch no matter who you were rooting for. The cry of wait until next year will be heard in Philly till next season starts.

My opinion is, you have to respect Brady and company. He and his team find a way to win, just like my hero Joe Montana and the 49ers of the eighties. Winning when it counts always provides finality to who is the best.
