DIY HO ? RE Hydronic fan convector

I'm researching the installation of some replacement hydronic fan convector units for my in-law's condo. They still have the original units installed, and the place was built in the early 1960s. There are four separate units.

There are a couple companies on the i-net that sell replacement units similar to what is already installed (e.g., http://www.houseneeds.com/shop/HeatingProducts/heatingunits/fanconvectors/myson/mysonhilinelolinescuconvectors.htm#loline)

From a strictly mechanical perspective (i.e., nuts and bolts and plumbing), the replacement seems pretty straight forward and well within the capabilities of an experienced DIYer (i.e., match size, pipes, and BTUs and install). Is it? Since this will be my first HVAC project, I want to make sure I'm not getting in over my head.

Also, if there are any pros on this board that are in the Bethesda/Rockville MD area that would be willing to consult on the project, or if you could provide me a referral, please let me know.

Thanks!
